What are the best Chinese restaurants that deliver to Passyunk? Its definitely a food category we don’t seem to have local.

This is not at all surprising. The whole building looks like it is covered in a film of filth.
Would like to see a review of China House on East Passyunk, good food but I’m always skeptical of cleanliness

No. 1 China House had no serious violations as of their last inspection, but it looks like every restaurant gets hit with some violations.
China House is DISGUSTING. Look up at the fans…now imagine that filth pouring down on your food while you dine in.
I really don’t understand how they’ve still managed to stay open…
From a December, 2015 article: “City inspectors cited China House No 1 for fresh mouse feces, unrefrigerated tofu and BBQ meats, and poor hygiene as evidence in the City of Philadelphia vs Yang civil court case in 2012. De Yang, owner of the establishment at 1739 East Passyunk Avenue, did not reply to repeated requests for comment.
The city’s suit asserted that, “The condition of the establishment presents a serious and immediate hazard to the safety, health and welfare of the patrons … and the public in general.”
Even after the lawsuit, China House No 1 has remained one of the worst offenders in the area. Over the course of four years and 12 inspections, sanitarians cited the restaurant for mouse droppings more than 20 times and tallied more than 45 repeat violations.”
