RIP Norman Brown, a South Street fixture with his Viking helmet

A candle lit vigil was held Sunday night to celebrate the life of Norman Brown, a fixture to the South Street area for more than 30 years.

If you ever saw a man with a viking helmet making friends on South Street , that was Norman, who died of natural causes. He lived on the streets but also in the hearts of many that frequented South Street over the year.

People of all sorts came out to show their love and respect for a man who would often be seen posing for pictures with people.
