(Philadelphia, PA) Friends of Kirkbride, a group of neighbors, parents, and teachers, host their 2nd annual fundraiser for Kirkbride Elementary, A NIGHT OUT FOR KIRKBRIDE on Friday, April 21, 6-9pm. The party will feature cocktails, food, and silent and live auction. All proceeds will seed the fund for Kirkbride’s playground redesign.
Tickets are $30 in advance, $40 at the door. Donations of $30 can be made to support a Kirkbride teacher to attend the party.
A NIGHT OUT FOR KIRKBRIDE will be held at Industrious Offices, 230 S. Broad Street, 17th floor, a modern glass-filled space in Center City with sweeping views of South Philadelphia. The evening will also include a school-themed photobooth, performance from the Kirkbride Orchestra, and even karaoke. Guests will bid on great auction packages donated by local businesses and Kirkbride teachers. The event has been sponsored by Message Agency, Generation 3 Electric, The Party Concierge, Lagunitas Brewing, The Lighting Practice, Claudia Reyes-Hull, Jevon Hull, and Kyle Zieba.
Food will include a sampling of the diverse cuisine of Kirkbride’s catchment from Mexican to Italian to Southeast Asian. Beer has been generously donated by Lagunitas Brewing Company.

About Kirkbride Elementary
Eliza B. Kirkbride Elementary School is an outstanding K-8 Philadelphia public school located in South Philadelphia at 7th and Dickinson Streets. The school serves 548 students, 43% of whom receive English as a Second Language services. Kirkbride Elementary is a “peer leader” in the School Progress Reports by the School District of Philadelphia for overall performance, and is rated eighth out of 138 total schools in Philadelphia for overall achievement, progress, and climate.
