Hundreds of entrepreneurs and inventors lined up last weekend at NextFab Studio to audition for “Shark Tank,” ABC’s investor reality show, Technically Philly reports. The studio, which we told you about in January, is essentially an industrial co-working space that gives members access to huge, expensive machinery to make prototypes of their ideas. The tech blog said that entrepreneurs from Boston, Delaware, New Jersey and as far away as Florida showed up for the chance to become the next Ron Popeil (Ronco food dehydrator, Showtime rotisserie, that air mattress you hang from a garage ceiling to keep from banging doors but it’s actually just a pool raft): By 1 a.m. on Saturday, there were about 130 people camping out in a nearby parking lot rented by NextFab … despite an ongoing thunderstorm.
