If you walk past the corner of 13th and Jackson, you might have noticed this hoagie shop, How ‘Bout A Hoagie. Well, now it’s closed.
We had high hopes for ‘Bout A Hoagie when it opened less than a year ago. Eater said in September that the menu, which consisted of breakfast, sandwiches, ice cream, and of course, hoagies, included some notable highlights:
The chicken cutlet Popeye sandwich rivals Shank’s legendary Italiano in terms of quality, and the Cordon Bleu adds tavern ham and swiss to the cutlet which is slathered in bleu cheese. The best part of the deal is the price: $6.25 for a large hoagie.
