Construction has resumed on 1514-20 S. 9th St. at the corner of Greenwich, where five apartments and one live-work space are planned.
“They pulled down the facade a few months ago and then work stopped,” our tipster said. “About 3 weeks ago work resumed and they punched out the small windows to expose the original, very large warehouse windows. Also, they they completely gutted the space and framed the walls and ceilings. A full crew has been there every weekday and the street parking signs say that work will continue through the end of December.”
Thanks for being so thorough!
Permits filed with the city say the building will house a “business/professional office” in the live-work space.
Whatever it is, it’s surely better than a vacant building.
