The Newbold Neighbors Association will hear a proposal next week to convert a former storage warehouse into a nine-unit apartment building.
Naked Philly reports that zoning notices appeared on the building, at 1618-22 Mifflin St., indicating that the developer needs several variances, including changing the zoning from industrial to residential and to not include parking. They also plan a roof deck.
The building is just down the street from South Philly Tap Room and Brew, as well as a block in another direction from the under-construction ReNewbold. Does that mean a conversion for this building near 17th and McKean can be far off?
