Plenty Cafe to open Queen Village location next week

Back in 2014 we first told you about the plans for Plenty Cafe to open a new Queen Village location. To open this cafe, they would need to fully renovate the former Fleishman Fabrics building, in the process creating the eight-unit Fabric Loft apartments upstairs.

After two years of work, the cafe is finally ready for its debut at 705 S. 5th St. On Monday, November 14 you’ll have the chance to stop in at Plenty’s biggest location yet.

Spotted: Bainbridge Green gets a colorful new sidewalk mural

While Bainbridge Green, the area between 3rd and 5th Streets on Bainbridge, is not getting redone just yet, the community space is seeing some smaller-scale updates in the form of public art.

What's Happening in:  Queen Village 

Plenty aiming to open Queen Village location in September

It’s been a while since Plenty announced plans for a new Queen Village location. That announcement happened over two years ago and since then, owners Anthony and Damon Mascieri have been hard at work on this new location, while also improving upon their other locations with renovations and the addition of a liquor license.

Plenty Cafe’s East Passyunk Avenue location.

Plenty’s new Queen Village cafe, coming to the former Fleishman’s Fabrics location at 705 S. 5th St., is finally approaching the finish line. According to Eater, the soon-to-be biggest location of Plenty is aiming for an opening in September.
