He’s partnering with his Mexican-born sous chef, Silvestre Rincon, to open Tuk Tuk Real, which will meld the cuisines from both countries. It’s going in the former spot of Paul’s Idaho Fries, a boardwalk-inspired french fry and funnel cake place.

Circles Thai & Bottle Shop are hosting a beer dinner

Circles at 1514 Tasker St., the best Thai place in the city, if you ask us, is pairing up with South Philly favorite The Bottle Shop for a five-course, five-beer dinner on Wednesday, Jan. 30, Foobooz reports. That’s right, each course comes with its own bottle, so at least it’s within walking distance for most of us. There are two seatings, 6 and 8 p.m. and the price is $50 a head, or $45 for groups of four or more. Check here for tickets and more info.

And see the menu and beer lineup after the jump.
