Pat’s Steaks guest chef series continues with a visit from Jose Garces

Kelp granules, fried mortadella and more ingredients uncharacteristic of the Pat’s Steaks we all know have been showing up in sandwiches at the long-standing East Passyunk Avenue spot.

Why, do you ask? Pat’s Steaks has been running a guest chef series, serving vegetarian “cheesesteaks” from┬áSally Eisenberg and Italian Cubano-like sandwiches from Marc Vetri. Next up in the guest chef series is Jose Garces, known for restaurants like Amada and Garces Trading Company.
