There’s lots of stuff in this week’s To-Do List, which now includes listings from our new events calendar, as well as a smattering of other fun stuff from around the city. If you have something to add, please put it in the comments, or you can submit future events to our calendar here.
- Passyunk’s own Nice Things Handmade gift shop and the Philly Free School present the Super Fantastic Craft Bazaar. Over 35 local artisans and crafters will transform the school’s roller-skating rink, 20th and Christian, into a holiday wonderland filled with one-of-a-kind gifts, face painting, caricatures, make-and-take ornaments, paint-your-own ceramics and free candy canes. Ultimo Coffee, Weckerly’s Ice Cream, Philly Free School and others will serve hot beverages, seasonal treats and lunchtime snacks. Admission is free. For more show information, visit www.nicethingshandmade.com or www.phillyfreeschool.org, call (267) 455-0256 or follow @nicethingshandmade.
- Swedish holiday celebration, Lucia Fest, is coming up. A woman will sing traditional Swedish Lucia songs while followed by a choir of boys, gnomes and gingerbread cookies. Sounds like a dream we had once. Sign up online here, call 215-389-1776, or pay at the door, $10. Read more about Lucia Fest here.
