GCT owner Sara Selepouchin just moved that operation into a new Passyunk Avenue storefront, sharing the space with her new Occasionette gift shop. The office, for a time also was a tailor, if we remember correctly.
Aversa has a ton of East Passyunk clients – Ms. Goody’s Cupcakes, Headhunters saloon, Noir, many more – and has been hosting social media workshops for Passyunk businesses in conjunction with the East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District, which is another client. Those seminars will move from the BID office to there. They also plan to begin offering similar seminars to businesses that aren’t on the avenue.
He shares the space with Tom Bowles, a NASCAR writer who owns Frontstretch.com, hosts a Sirius radio show and has won two Emmys for his participation in race broadcasts. They’re also exploring the possibility of doing a co-work share for the fourth desk in the office, but no final decision has been made with that.
Aversa plans a grand opening party with goodies from his clients, so we’ll keep you posted on that. He joins a growing office-professional element in the neighborhood, a welcome shot in the arm to weekday foot traffic.
Welcome to the neighborhood, guys.
