Forget the Brooklyn Flea! There’s no need to traipse to the Piazza anymore and leave the comfort of South Philly for your vintage finds.
Two months ago the publicity-shy owners (and old friends) of Jinxed and Tucker’s Digs joined up and opened a new location on 4th near South Street. This is a second location for Jinxed (the other is located at 1050 North Hancock Street #86) and Tucker’s Digs moved a short distance from its original locale on Fabric Row.
The stuff in here is great and well-curated. Right now, selections include a stuffed turkey and the June 1981 Playboy you need to complete your collection, plus tons more. New motley sundries, bowling pins, furniture, jewels, praying hands, taxidermy and more arrive every three days.
So if you don’t find the metal sailboat wall sculpture you desperately need for the third floor of your trinity, it’ll probably turn up soon.
Jinxed | Tucker’s Digs is open seven days a week from 12-8 p.m. “Every damn day” as they say. The best way to keep up is to follow them on Instagram.
