Union rat pops up at 12th and Latona development

The infamous inflatable union rat roared briefly on 12th Street yesterday outside the Latona Court development at Latona Street.

The final phase of the 14-home development is under construction. And by the presence of the giant vermin, we can assume that it’s not a union crew.

So far, we haven’t heard anything about other, more insidious alleged union tactics – like using urine or asbestos to intimidate or gluing the locks of a budding music venue. So a blow-up varmint is no big deal.

Hell, they didn’t even bust out the new Ratmobile.

The rat must a have a pretty busy schedule considering this development has been under construction for over a year and he finally got around to making an appearance here.

They were picketing in front of the Burger King on Front and Oregon during construction of that as well, but it seems now that it’s totally up they’ve stopped protesting.

As titillating as that may be, the rats are actually made
in Illinois by a company called Big Sky Ballons.
