We knew that cheesesteaks were hazardous to your health, but this is ridiculous. A driver jumped the curb on Passyunk just north of Wharton at about 2 a.m. yesterday and slammed into a bunch of cars parked at Pat’s, NBC10 reported. No one was injured, though.
Good thing the crash didn’t happen during daylight hours yesterday, when the area was mobbed, at times blocking 9th and Passyunk completely, with steak aficionados who were lining up for 50 cent cheesesteaks at Geno’s in honor of that shop’s 47th anniversary.
