See if your house has been on ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’

Do you ever see a familiar place when you’re watching “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” but you just can’t quite figure out where it is? Well, now you can watch that uncertainty vanish thanks to a clever little tool that must have taken months to complete.

always sunny

A Google map created by a user named JoeMoe plots out the sites of every local filming location since the series’ inception.

For instance, Sweet Dee’s apartment in Season 5 and later is 438 Federal St. Bertolino’s pharmacy at 12th and Dickinson pops up in Season 5 as well, at nine minutes and 24 seconds into the episode called¬†“The D.E.N.N.I.S. System.” And the second home of the McPoyles is at 5th and Morris.

Interesting note: There are clusters of filming locations in Bella Vista, Pennsport, the eastern end of South Street and around Columbus Square Park, but very few west of Broad, and none in Point Breeze. Maybe American Sardine Bar should send a note to Mac and Charlie.

Click on the map above to play around, but you should probably block off some time if you’re a fan. That thing can suck you in. Just like the show, but without all the yelling.
