Chef Nicholas Elmi opens his French-inspired BYOB Laurel tonight at  1617 E. Passyunk Ave., and we stopped in today to give you a peek at the inside.

It’s tiny – 24 plush seats. That’s about 10 seats fewer than when the space was Fond, giving a surprising amount of elbow room to diners.
