SoPhilly Spotlight: Holy Crap That’s Expensive edition

It was only a couple weeks ago that we found a great bargain for the SoPhilly Spotlight, so we figured this time, let’s really dream.

1337 Bainbridge1

Coming in at a cool $1.3 million, this 4,000 square foot sparkling monster at 1337 Bainbridge St. has 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, a two-car garage, an elevator and five outdoor spaces.

From the listing by BHHS-Fox Roach:

This south facing home boasts 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and a 7-stop elevator. Hardwood flooring throughout, 15ft ceilings in living room, 12ft ceilings in lower level den, 8ft doors throughout, amazing natural light.

Yes, it's very bright.

Gorgeous European kitchen boasts cabinets imported from Spain, Wolf, Subzero, Miele and Viking appliances, stone countertops. Living room has fireplace and wall built ins, amazing city views, green roofs, 10 year tax abatement, finished basement with radiant floor… the list doesn’t end!

And of course, it wouldn’t be a millionaire’s home without a basement that’s bigger and nicer than the best part of Passyunk Post world headquarters.

Wonder if that's a safe place to store high-school crap.

And finally, the lounge at the top.

Next to the Hess gas station…they probably don’t mention that in the listing.

North of Broad – not sure if I would consider that South Philly.

It’s on Bainbridge, which is just below South Street, the traditional border of Center City and South Philly. It’s fair game to me!

I don’t think its possible to be North of Broad, considering it runs North-South.

Before considering one of these town houses, I would strongly suggest that you to talk to some one who has purchased one of this developer’s earlier projects. Just sayin…
