Snyder Plaza gains kids’ dentist, says goodbye to Super King Buffet

There has been some movement in and out of Snyder Plaza in the recent months – highlighted by the opening of Uncle Oogies in early January at 36 Snyder Avenue.

Now comes word that Children’s Dental Health Associates, P.C., a pediatric dental facility with offices throughout the region, will set up a new outpost  in the Snyder Plaza South shopping center at 48 Snyder Ave. in the former Save-A-Lot grocery store.

At over 12,000 sq.ft., this is by far the largest unit in the Snyder Plaza South. Needless to say, this is going to be a roomy office with plenty of parking and access to the 79 bus.

Signs indicate the office will look to open sometime in late February and also feature an adult dental practice by the name of Philadelphia Dental Arts. Appointments are currently being accepted for both practices; call (215) 383-1376 for CDHA’s pediatric appointments and (215) 554-6830 for appointments with Philadelphia Dental Arts.

Perhaps the more interesting news is next door, where the Super King Buffet closed up shop after recently celebrating its 10-year anniversary last October. Given the positive turnover Snyder Plaza has seen recently, this large (6,800+ sq. ft.) former restaurant space nestled between Uncle Oogies and CDHA’s brand new office may not be vacant for long.

The former Super King Buffet site is up for lease through Metro Commercial Real Estate.
