You can’t get any more tucked away than with this week’s SoPhilly Spotlight, which is down a tiny cobblestone Queen Village alley and is situated behind its own charming brick courtyard.
Coming in at $259,900, 210 Carpenter St. #R (with R meaning the rear of the building), is certainly a charming little house, but at 534 square feet, it has to be the smallest 2-bedroom we’ve ever seen.
From the listing by Plumer & Associates:
Brand new kitchen, floors redone and gorgeous! You cannot find a quainter, cuter setting than this. Tucked away in a quiet courtyard in one of the oldest residential neighborhoods of the city, this two-bedroom one-bath has hardwood floors throughout, CENTRAL AIR, great outdoor space for entertaining, a working wood fire place and character galore!
The listing doesn’t actually list the square footage, which is always an eyebrow-raiser, so we had to find it on the city’s real-estate records website. But it does have a really nice courtyard.
What do you think? Worth it?
