  • The city has struck a deal with the owner of a controversial vacant lot on the 1100 block of South 24th Street to clean it up. It had become a de facto landfill for years, says City Paper.
  • One of the restaurants at Carl Dranoff’s 777 S. Broad St., Chinamoto, has closed amid what could be called “mixed reviews” at best, reports Phila. Real Estate Blog.
  • Speaking of Dranoff, he’s searching for a restaurant tenant at his new building at Broad and South, called Southstar Lofts, which was also in Phila. Real Estate Blog. They have started giving tours to prospective tenants.
