One of East Passyunk’s signature events, the Flavors of the Avenue festival, is coming up on April 26, and tickets went on sale yesterday.
Twenty-seven restaurants will participate this year, including the debut of Laurel and previews of the upcoming Brigantessa and Townsend, the restaurant coming to the former Sophia’s from chef Townsend Wentz.
The event goes from noon to 5 p.m. and will now include a separate VIP tent. Down the block, the Craft Balboa spring craft fair will take over the fountain, and the surrounding blocks will host a street fair with live music.
