An Elkins Park preschool is opening a second branch in a Graduate Hospital church in the fall, and an open house will be on April 5.
The Project P.L.A.Y School is set to open at Union Baptist Church, at 1910 Fitzwater St. The open house is April 5 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information about the Elkins Park branch, go to their website here.
From an announcement:
Project P.L.A.Y. School (Partners in Learning About You) is a unique school for children ages 27 months through 5 years. Operating a diverse and welcoming environment in Elkins Park since 2005, Project P.L.A.Y now announces an expansion to Philadelphia’s Graduate Hospital neighborhood. … The school’s play-based philosophy nurtures an environment where children, parents and teachers learn together through the art of play, creating community.
From what we hear, it’s a mess for parents around here to get their kids into preschool. Is that right? And is it getting any better?
If you know of other preschool options worth checking out, please put them in the comments.
