SoPhilly Spotlight: Halloween edition

From the outside, this week’s SoPhilly Spotlight at 358 Gladstone St. looks normal, but upon entering the home, you’re greeted with a bit of a different sight.

Gladstone

This 3 bedroom and 1 bath home on the market for $115,000 has potential, but in its current state is more of a Halloween haunt.

According to the listing by Berkshire Hathaway:

This is a 3 bedroom 1 bath home in shell condition being sold in as/is condition. Excellent value for first time investor rehabber or home owner who wants to fix it up and make it their own!

Kitchen with wood cabinetry and door to yard. Second floor offers 3 bedrooms and a full bath off the hall with stall shower. Basement offers mechanicals and storage space. A great investment in the heart of Whitman!
the upstairs is just as creepy... do you even want to see what's through that doorway?

I'm sure Alfred Hitchcock could make this bathroom work... just add some blood and Norman Bates with a knife

Beyond the property’s eery qualities, do you think this home has potential?

It has no potential priced at $115K, maybe if it was #60K.

It looks like this place needs to be gutted and completely rebuilt. No way you’re getting that much money for it.

Egads! What is that dark splotch on the shower door? Could it be blood?
