Located at 7th and Jackson St., the reboot of Cafe Canela offers burritos, tacos and entrees at reasonable prices and is available for eat-in, take-out or even delivery. “We’re very different from other places,” said Armando Navarro. “It’s like your mom is cooking everything, if you’re mom is Mexican.”

The menu is reasonably priced and chock-full of all kinds of traditional Mexican favorites, including the ever-popular al pastor (marinated pork with pineapple) and chiles rellenos (jalapeno pepper stuffed with cheese). Navarro mentioned that everything is made “on the spot”, including the corn and flour tortillas.

Cafe Canela is open everyday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. offering breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Keep an eye on their Facebook Page for daily deals. Many of the posts are written in both Spanish and English and feature tantalizing shots of the freshly made Mexican food.

    Perfect location. Perfect product.
