Habitat for Humanity ReStore could be coming to Washington Ave.

A non-profit home improvement store from Habitat for Humanity could be coming to 2318 Washington Ave.

The proposed location, which is the location of the former EHC Foods Supermarket and Washington Substation, would be for a second-hand furniture, home goods and building supplies store.

Because the proposed facility is from Habitat for Humanity, the proceeds from the purchases made at this facility would go towards building homes and community through the organization.

According to Naked Philly, the proposed location would include 33 parking spots.

With so many developments being proposed for Washington Ave., is the area being slated for a new beginning?

Do you think this is a good location for a ReStore?

YES this would be awesome. Right now every ReStore is a long drive away for me. This would work really well with all the other construction and materials businesses on Washington.
