Update on Buckminster’s, set to open in the Fall at 21st and Federal

As construction is finishing on the spot, we now have new details about a chef and the food that you can expect to see here.

This restaurant is a new spot from Michael Pasquarello of Cafe Lift and Prohibition Taproom. Buckminster’s has just named Rob Marzinsky, who was opening chef at Fitler Dining Room, as the executive chef of this new bistro.

More from Eater:

Since leaving FDR early this year, Marzinsky has taken the opportunity to travel to Thailand and Vietnam, and spent six weeks working at Melbourne’s renowned Attica, chef Ben Shewry’s innovative showcase for native Australian ingredients that’s regarded as one of the top restaurants in the world. Today’s announcement from 13th Street Kitchens notes that some influences from Marzinsky’s travels can be expected across Buckminster’s menu. Expect a focus on seasonal small plates that pair well with drinks, as Buckminster’s will have a full bar.
