This contemporary Asian spot in Girard Estates will be relocating to a second floor location in the shopping plaza at 11th and Washington.
According to owner Yenh Thivarath, the reason for the relocation is based on struggles the restaurant has had with the location and parking situation. This new spot will have free parking in the shopping center, making it an easier move for the restaurant.
If you’ve tried La Fusion before, expect much of the same style of cuisine at this new location. There will be hot appetizer options and a full sushi menu.
The new location will have a “sophisticated ambience.” Just like the current location, La Fusion will be both a bar and restaurant. Expect to see a “lux lounge” for late-night hangouts and karaoke on certain nights. Dinner will be served starting at 5 p.m., until the kitchen closes at 1 a.m.
Thivarath wants to do something more special with the design of this location, so he hired restaurant designer, Raymond Haldeman.
