  • Now through mid-fall, every Wednesday, 3-6 pm – East Passyunk and Tasker at Singing Fountain – Farmers’ Market. Come and get your fresh, locally-grown produce and baked Amish goods.

 

  • Now through 9/27, Tuesday-Friday every week, 1140 South Ninth Street, South Philly Barbacoa – Steve Coleman and Five Elements will be doing six-month Philly residency. Jazz combo reminiscent of Thelonius Monk.   360.5282

 

 

  • Friday, 5/17, 6-9 pm, 1901 South Ninth Street, Bok Building – “A Night Out for Kirkbride School” fundraiser, a celebration of Kirkbride Elementary at A Night Out 2019 at the Workshop at Bok!   • Sunday, 5/19, through Sunday, 5/26, 1340 South 13th Street, Theater Exile – Among the Deadby Hansol Jung, a dark and poignant comedy about a family broken apart by betrayed promises and finding each other again through SPAM, journals, and Jesus. A shape-shifting (and weed-toting) Jesus serves as the intermediary of this story, which weaves together three separate time periods through one central location – a small hotel room in Korea.   • Wednesday, 5/22, 5 pm, 1901 South Ninth Street, BOK Building Tour. If you’ve never visited BOK and are curious about what we’re up to, join us for a free tour every Wednesday. Please arrive promptly at 5:00 PM at the entrance to the building (which is 1901 S 9th Street. You do not need to register for the weekly tour. Tours will only be cancelled if they land on a federally recognized holiday. We look forward to showing you around!
