South Philly Patios – Grab a Drink Outdoors

By Catherine Murray

With the official start of summer–and the June thunderstorms hopefully drawing to a close–we wanted to share our favorite spots in South Philly to sip a cool drink and enjoy the outdoors. Listed in no particular order below, here’s where we’re spending our summer nights.

Bok
800 Mifflin Street

Located in the heart of South Philly, the Bok Bar boasts one of the best views of the city in all of Philadelphia. Grab a glass of wine or can of beer from their friendly bartenders and settle in as close to the railings as you can. Time your visit with sunset to see the skyline lit up in hues of pink and orange. Consider going on a weeknight to avoid some of the crowds.
